Sailing School “Cenzino Sanna”
The Sailing School at the CVM was named after Cenzino Sanna, late member of CVM, who contributed to it with energy and enthusiasm while sharing his vast sea-faring expertise.
The School organizes summer classes for children and adults.
In the period from June 15th to June 26th the sailing classes are reserved to the children of Monterosso, continuing a long - standing tradition.
In July and August sailing classes are open to the public.
Classes are held in the morning and/or afternoon from Monday to Friday and are held by instructors certified by Federazione Italiana Vela, the Italian sailing federation.
The courses include general sailing theory, rigging, launching and recovery, sailing techniques and capsize recovery.
The dinghy fleet comprises:
6 Optimists / 4 Lasers / 3 Equipes / 3 470s
Beginners classes for children will use Optimists and Equipes.
Classes for teenagers and adults will use 470s.

From July 3rd to August 25th, Monday through Friday
Morning class: 9.30am – 12.30pm
Afternoon class: 2.30pm - 5.30pm
